The Clear Ear Clinic specialises in professionally clearing cerumen (earwax) from your ear canals using a technique called micro-suction wax removal. Performed under a binocular microscope to ensure accurate depth perception and visibility, our micro-suction equipment provides a low-pressure suction to gently and efficiently draw wax from the ear canals without the use of water.
Depending on the nature of the cerumen we may also use small curette tools to gently dislodge any build up in the ear canals, clearing and removing blockages.
Micro-suction and curette is a much gentler method than ear syringing and doesn’t require ear drops to soften the wax prior to your appointment, saving you time and restoring your hearing faster.
